Seussical the Musical is based on the children's stories written by Dr. Seuss. During the research process of this show I became very focused on the style of Seuss's own drawing and painting style. I did not want to go into his books and replicate buildings and structures he had drawn, but Instead create lines and silhouettes similar to his style in pieces of architecture that would work for our space and the production.
